Logico pensare a 5 elementi con un trascorso prog e radici da periferia in una terra tra il mar ligure e le alpi piemontesi. Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard!

So the new "Phog" album is finished! It's a delicacy for the friends of melodic instrumental prog with lots of vintage keyboard sounds and wonderful electric guitars. Although it's a French one-man band, brought to life by PHilippe OGier (hence the name "Phog"), I feel myself heavily reminded to Dutch prog of the 70s - like "Finch" and "Lady Lake". Of course, late "Camel" comes to my mind, too.
